- Hi, my name is Raj, and i am just starting my Jaw Surgery blog, i am having my lower jaw advanced by about 8-10mm and my top jaw moved straight up about 3mm on the 30th May!! aggghhhh! Fingers crossed it all goes well; and that i still make it down the aisle 10 weeks post the op! I have been told the swelling should have gone by then, but having read other blogs it seems swelling doesnt really go for 6 months!! keep posted for the wedding photos on August 15th, swollen bride to be!
